The Story of Reamo Bakery
Reamo Bakery was founded with a simple but powerful vision: to bring affordable, fresh, and high-quality baked goods to local communities while creating employment opportunities where they are needed most.
Our journey began on 04 November 2024, when Reamo Bakery first opened its doors in Stinkwater, a township in Hammanskraal. Starting small, the bakery quickly became a trusted name in the community, serving freshly baked bread and meeting the daily needs of local households. From the beginning, Reamo Bakery stood for hard work, consistency, and commitment to serving people with dignity.
As demand grew and confidence in the brand strengthened, Reamo Bakery expanded beyond Stinkwater. In March 2025, we proudly opened our second branch in Nkandla, marking an important milestone in our growth and proving that our model could succeed in different communities.
In August 2025, we launched another branch in Dilopye. While the location showed potential, operational challenges led to the difficult but strategic decision to close the Dilopye branch within a month. This experience taught us valuable lessons about sustainability, location planning, and operational readiness, helping us make stronger decisions moving forward.
Later in November, Reamo Bakery made another bold move. We closed the original Stinkwater branch and relocated to a larger, better-equipped space in an RDP area, allowing us to increase production capacity, improve service delivery, and operate more efficiently. This transition marked a new chapter in our journey—one focused on long-term stability and growth.
Reamo Bakery also takes pride in its role as an employer. We started with just one employee in November, driven by passion and determination. Over time, as the business expanded, so did our team. Today, Reamo Bakery employs 18 dedicated staff members, each playing a vital role in our success and reflecting our commitment to job creation and skills development.
From humble beginnings to a growing community-focused enterprise, Reamo Bakery’s story is one of resilience, learning, and progress. We continue to build, bake, and believe in a future where local businesses uplift communities.

RDP Branch Opening
Due to High Demand we closed our Stinkwater branch moved to Our New Main Production Branch with upgraded equipment, More space and Facilities
Dilopye Branch Closure
Due to high operating costs, low sales the branch was not viable to continue we closed the branch and went back to the drawing board
Dilopye Branch Opening
With the aim of extending our foot print we opened doors in Dilopye near Dilopye Clinic
Nkandla branch Opening
Due to ongoing demand and Support we opened another Branch in Nkandla opposite Siyabonga tuck shop near nkandla sports ground.

we opened selling points across the streets of Stinkwater and neighbouring communities.

We opened our First Branch in Stinkwater next to Loratong Primary School with only 1 employee and a Friend willing to help with day to day runnings
